Upon termination or expiration of the applicable services, and subject to legal, regulatory, operational, and backup retention requirements, AB Business Support Services shall, upon written request of the Client:
- Return Client-provided data and materials in a commercially reasonable format; and/or
- Securely delete or destroy Client data remaining in its active systems and records.
Unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing:
- Requests for return or deletion of data must be made within thirty (30) days from termination of services;
- AB Business Support Services may retain archival, backup, legal compliance, billing, audit, disputeresolution, and security-related records as reasonably necessary; and
- Any retained information shall remain subject to confidentiality and security obligations.
Where deletion is requested, AB Business Support Services shall use commercially reasonable measures to permanently erase or anonymize applicable data from active environments; provided, however, that residual copies stored in automated backups, disaster recovery systems, logs, or archival systems may persist temporarily until overwritten in the ordinary course of business.
AB Business Support Services may charge reasonable administrative fees for extensive data extraction, conversion, retrieval, or custom return requests

A. DATA INCIDENTS AND SECURITY BREACHES
In the event AB Business Support Services becomes aware of a confirmed unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, or compromise of personal information under its control that is reasonably likely to materially affect a Client or data subject, AB Business Support Services shall take commercially reasonable steps to:
- Investigate and contain the incident;
- Mitigate reasonably foreseeable harm;
- Comply with applicable legal notification obligations; and
- Notify affected Clients within a commercially reasonable period where required by law or contract.
Nothing in this Policy shall be construed as an admission of liability or fault arising from any security incident.
10. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Clients remain responsible for ensuring that any personal data shared with AB Business Support Services has been lawfully obtained and may legally be transferred for processing.
Clients are likewise responsible for compliance with applicable data protection laws within their own jurisdictions.
Where AB Business Support Services processes information on behalf of a Client, the Client remains the primary controller or owner of such information unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11. USER RIGHTS
Subject to applicable laws, individuals may have the right to:
- Access personal information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of data
- Object to certain processing activities
- Withdraw consent
- Request data portability
- File a complaint with applicable regulatory authorities
